My journey from Ludhiana, India, to Toronto, Canada, has been a remarkable one. I come from a traditional family with three elder siblings. Born and bred in Ludhiana, I started my career in the banking industry in 2008 after graduating with a Bachelor’s of Commerce with Honors in Business Financial and Accounting in 2007.
I worked with HDFC Bank for eight fruitful years, marked by immense learning and growth. Despite a fulfilling career in India, I decided to follow my dreams and landed in Toronto in 2016 as a Permanent Resident of Canada, looking for a better life and more opportunities for a bright future.
I worked with ICICI Bank Canada, followed by a stint with Toronto Transit Commission. I discovered my calling and graduated with a Diploma in Immigration Consultant from the Academy of Learning, Mississauga with Honours. It was a landmark that took my career in a new direction. I became a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC # R708042) and member in Good Standing of ICCRC.
At this stage, I was ready to envision my dream, which became a reality when I started Chhatwal Immigration and Citizenship Consultant with my first office in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. I am also a member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC) and the Commissioner of Oath for taking affidavits in the Inside Quebec and Outside Canada.
